I am a wife, mother, daughter, friend, teacher, mentor, educational consultant, and business owner. Born and raised in Detroit, MI, you can be assured that I have seen a lot – some good, some bad. My mission is to use my experiences and the things that I continue to learn in order to help as many young ladies and women as I can. I am determined to help those around me to NOT make some of the mistakes I’ve made, as well as the ones I’ve seen (and continue to see).
WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THIS BLOG
You will see a lots of posts about relationships and managing money – simply because those are two major areas that we women seem to get into the most trouble with. If we can have healthy relationships with people AND make wise choices with our finances, there’s a strong possibility that other areas in our lives can flourish as well. You will also see posts that will encourage you to INVEST IN YOURSELF. This is because you are the only one who can really change your life. My goal is to help you realize that you deserve it.
A FINAL NOTE
I wouldn’t be able to do what I do without all the ladies who continue to encourage me on my journey. Your sisters (real or adopted) are extremely valuable – look out for each other and encourage one another to be their best!
